It's been a while since the last the last post. We've been a tick busy. As you can see, our new web polls are getting great results and we're listening to your votes. The first poll, the top 2 vote getters were:
1. Crazy Bitch (Buck Cherry)
2. She's a Beauty (The Tubes)
BOTH of those songs are now on our set list. And yes, Road Crew, we'll make sure they're on the list for Mike & Dot's next week.
The latest poll seems to be a landslide. Overwhelmingly, fans are picking "She Hates Me" from Puddle of Mudd. The funny thing is, that song was just thrown on the poll for a filler; never thought it would be the top vote getter. That poll will be active until a week AFTER the Mike & Dot's gig...which will give everyone a chance to get their votes in.
In other news, our schedule is getting pretty much FULL for the rest of the year. We have very few open spots from now until 2010 and I think New Year's is actually booked too. The upcoming months will be a lot of fun. We just booked the Mifflinburg Fireman's Carnival and also a bunch of campground dates and biker rallies at Splash Magic in Northumberland. Again, if you were there last year...enough said. We also booked the annual Steak Bake in Milton, with the Susquehanna Bike Club...thanks Big Paul.
Mike Hauer re-joined the band on bass. He played his first return gig with us last weekend in Lewistown. It was great to have Mike back. He's not only a phenomenal bass player...he also is a fan of PBR. So, that Lewistown gig....1000 tickets sold!! WOW! We usually play the small stage in the small room. We had to move the show to the huge-ass room on that big stage. It was quite surreal.
We're off this weekend and will be charging our batteries for Mike & Dot's on 3/21. See you there!! Oh yeah, we have a bunch of new t-shirts and chick tank tops. We'll have them at Mike & Dot's...get in line!

Bunch O' New Stuff
We're full of new stuff lately! New website, new t-shirts for sale, new joints to play, and new additions to the songlist. Tonight we added December '63 (Oh What a Night) to the list. A great party tune! We ran through it a few times and BOOM! The past few weeks we've added a lot to the list and we're excited to get out and perform them all.
Unless you have vision trouble, you'll see that we have a new website! The old one needed a facelift and we upgraded some features. You'll see the new slide show and also the web poll/voting booth. We'll be changing the voting booth questions a few times per month.
We also have t-shirts that we'll be selling at shows. Due to high demand from fans, we got some made and they're awesome! They'll be $12 at shows and will also be available for online purchase soon. Chill, I just built a new website...I'm in no rush to set up an online store. Geez.
As said before in previous blogs, we're playing at a bunch of new places. Word has traveled and a ton of places want Route 15. We have a few more booked at the legion/VFW types but we won't be adding any additional gigs at those types of memberships places anymore. We have so many opportunities at big places coming up.
If you're a regular at the PA Rally on the River, you'll be excited to hear that we have 5 shows booked for this year's festivities. Actually we booked 3 rallies and 2 camping dates...but they're on the same stage as last year. If you haven't been there and want to attend, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! It will prove to be another great Route 15 year.
See you this weekend in Hughesville and Shamokin!

Restful Break
Been away, but now we're back. The short break was fun except for the subpoenas. We'll be back on stage for New Years Eve in Shamokin. The band has a few weeks off in January before we get back in full swing for the 2009 schedule. There are a bunch of new places booked...some REAL places. We have Mike & Dot's, The Angus Inn, The Arm Bar, and the PA Rally on the River coming in 2009. We were offered (and accepted) 4 (count 'em) 4 gigs at the PA Rally on the River for this year. If you were there last year...enough said. Its definitely going to be a year to remember for Route 15 and the loyal fans.
Rehearsal is tomorrow night (Tuesday). We're working on 3 new songs and cleaning some other stuff. The set list is constantly being updated and we're working hard to bring new and GREAT music to fans...songs done the RIGHT way.
Anywho...have a great holiday and get ready for an unbelievable Route 15 2009!!!!!

Great night!
What a great time at the Rescue in Shamokin! We filled the house and everyone stayed all night. We were offered a ton of repeat dates there and we're working on our schedule now. Check back for the updated schedule.
Our schedule for the spring and summer is being planned now. As mentioned in an earlier post, we're booking fewer "membership" type places. The band is excelling so quickly and we are getting more an more offers at clubs and bars. We'll be back at the Arm Bar in the coming months and we've also got some dates booked at some pretty major joints in the area. The big turnouts we've had and the following we've generated has helped us get into a lot of bigger places. So, thanks to the fans for your support.
We're also working on our summer dates. We have some things lined up already and we're looking forward to being back at Bike Night at The Lube and also playing at the biker rally for PA Rally on the River events. If you were there...no comments needed!!!
Coming up Thanksgiving Saturday is the annual Hunter's Ball at the Union County Sportsman's Club. This is our second year in a row for this gig. We also did the spring gig as well.
December will be a slow month...but by choice. We'll be in Lewistown on 12/6 and then its on to NewYear's at the St. Francis. It's nice having a break around the holidays. We did have to turn a bunch of offers down for December. But, we'll be heavy from January on.
Thanks again for the support and the always kind words about the best rock on the road.

Upcoming Stuff...
Yeah, so we've been having a lot of fun the past couple of weeks. The gig at the Highland Lake Manor was awesome and we made some new fans. We also got some new bookings out of that gig. I guess there were some people there and long story short...word about Route 15 travels fast.
We have some new songs coming up in the next few weeks that we're working on. And we're also working on some new website concepts. Hopefully the new website will be ready in the next few weeks. There will also have some audio/video clips available.
So, we're in Shamokin this weekend at the St. Francis. That's where we'll be for New Years Eve too.
Coming up Thanksgiving Saturday is the hunter's ball at the Union County Sportsmans Club. We did the hunter's ball last year and also played the spring event too. We have been consistently packing the house there and they seem to love us. So thanks again and we'll see you back there in a few weeks.
Ok...see you Saturday in Shamokin...

The Arm Bar!
Yeah! What a friggin' night at the Arm Bar! We owned the place. There was a huge turnout and we got a lot of new fans. The band received a lot of great compliments and will definitely be booking more shows there! Thanks to the Arm Bar staff for having us and WANTING US BACK!!!
If you haven't noticed, we're making a transition. We're going to be playing less and less at the "membership" type places. There will be fewer bookings at Moose, Legion, VFW type places. There are a few that we will keep but we're not that type of band.
Last night we had a ton of compliments about our set list and quality. There were several people raving about "All Summer Long" from Kid Rock and also the .38 Special songs we do. We also got a huge ovation from "Come on Eileen." Our 80's stuff continues to go over huge! Everybody in the band was ON last night and it really showed.
Special shout out to the Meadow Green crew and the broads who sang on stage with us. It was a "fun" evening.
In two weeks we're at the Highland Lake Manor in Hughesville. Don't forget to bring friends!
Ok, enough...
